My name is Anne, I discovered a passion for photography in my early 20s in the streets of Paris, and later in the streets of Boston.
Based in the Boston area, I began with sports photography while following my kids around their activities. From lacrosse and skiing, to field hockey and football, I have been taking pictures of them and their teams every weekend.
I learned to capture the dynamic intensity of athletic events showcasing speed, power, and emotion. This involve mastering quick reflexes and a keen eye for the perfect moment amidst the chaos of the game.
As my passion for photography continued to evolve, I wanted to explore new creative possibilities. This is leading me to portrait photography, where the focus moved from capturing action to showcasing individual personalities. Unlike the fast pace of sports, portraits require a slower and more thoughtful approach, emphasizing light, composition, and human emotion.
